Station 48 Rescue
North Plainfield Rescue Squad (NPRS) remains one of the oldest volunteer rescue squads within the state of NJ.
It was established in 1949 with the hope to provide emergency care to the Borough of North Plainfield.
Since 1949 North Plainfield Rescue has grown to backup surrounding communities and has gained service agreements with numerous organizations.
NPRS stands amongst the elite not only within Somerset County, but throughout the state of NJ, and is proud of birthing some of NJ's best nurses, doctors, police officers, and business owners.

Professionalism II. With the addition of an Internal Operations Department overseeing recruitment, training, and state compliances, NPRS now exceeds both the Department of Health and the First Aide Council Standards setting new benchmarks for excellence.
Accountability III. From patient care reports to general radio communications, NPRS is now utilizing the latest in technology to provide covering areas with expedient emergent medical care.
