Station 48 Rescue
The North Plainfield Rescue Squad has been providing volunteer Emergency Medical Services to the Borough of North Plainfield since 1949. We currently have over 30 members; operate two ambulances and a Special Resources Unit.
Annual Fund Drive
Our fund drive is in full swing!! This year is a crucial year for funds because we do not want to find ourselves in the same predicament that we were in last year.

In Memory Of...
The NPRS family is saddened by the recent loss of Gloria Ciarlariello, past president of the NPRS Auxiliary. Gloria was a longtime member and supporter of the Rescue Squad and has touched many lives within the community. We thank her for all she has done and may she rest in peace.

NJ State EMT Training Fund Update
In December 2009, the state Treasury transferred $4 million from the EMTTF to the State General Fund to help with the State deficit. Unfortunately this will not cover the training for all EMT's as the fund had in the past. To deal with the shortfall, as of April 1, 2010, the fund will no longer pay continuing education classes.
